Although these toys are safe for a Parrot to play with, we would always recommend that a customer supervises their bird when they are playing with toys.

Toys are better when Parrot and owner play with them together anyway, particularly activity and trick toys and toy-making parts. Building new toys or revamping current ones with fresh wheels, blocks and more, builds the relationship between the two of them.

Teaching a Parrot a new skill, such as colours, sports and speech, boosts the bond between a customer and their bird as well.

Another benefit of activity and trick toys is it provides a bird with lots of mental stimulation. The two styles of foraging toys, chewable and reusable, do the same. These toys have treats hidden inside for a Parrot to have fun finding. To get to them a Parrot must chew their way through or move the toy around respectively.

Let an Eclectus Parrot enjoy loads of exercise on the swings and climbing toys or with foot toys. Eclectus Parrots can move foot toys around in their feet or beak and enjoy flying around and move in all directions on the swings and climbing toys.

There are loads of different textures to enjoy on wood and rope, coconut and cactus and willow and palm toys. Eclectus Parrots love picking at, preening with and unravelling the different fibres.

Cardboard and paper tears are perfect for Parrots to shred and tear into smaller pieces.

Customers may prefer a toy their bird can’t destroy as easily, that’s why acrylic and metal toys were invented. These super tough toys withstand a Meyer’s or Senegal Parrots tough playtime.
