Caique Accessories

Accessories can be used inside or outside the cage and are available for order in a variety of styles, colours and prices.

Perches come in lots of different diameters and textures so that a Parrot’s feet stay well exercised as they walk across them. Plus, some are edible, so Caiques can enjoy important nutrients as they walk.

Another way to tuck into all the food and nutrients they need is feeding dishes. Feeding dishes fasten securely onto the cage and stop Caique Parrots from tipping it up everywhere.

Most stands already have feeders attached to them, along with perches and toy hangers. Stands are good for providing out of cage time.

In winter months in particular it’s important that Parrots receive the levels of UVA and UVB that they need. Having the right balance of UVA and UVB light allows them to synthesise Vitamin D3 though their skin or preening gland, that allows them to produce calcium that they need for strong bones and beak. Lots of bird lights are available.

Encourage customers to take their Caique out with them in a harness or travel cage. Travel cages have all the features of a regular cage like perches and feeders.

Harnesses teach a Parrot to fly safely without the worry they’ll escape. Up to seven different colours are available.

Customers can clear the dirt and mess from most of these accessories away with the cleaning products and disinfectant. Choose from wipes, brushes and more.

Sand and sanded paper collects the mess a Caique makes at the bottom of the cage, so it’s easier to clean up.

Miscellaneous accessories are all the additional accessories that a customer may need for their Caique Parrot. These are baths and misters for washing in, training clickers to modify behaviour, scales for weighing their bird in and more.

Finally, hideaways are a warm and cosy place for a Caique to retreat too whenever they feel scared or threatened.
